Kurt Mosgaard has been engaged in a wide range of tasks close to the present and future activities of the company:
mediation course for diplomats in cooperation with UNITAR (Zimbabwe 2000)
sewing department at Homane Secondary School (Anette and KM, Zimbabwe 1999)
around 20 training courses for military officers, diplomats and police (Zimbabwe and South Africa 1997-2000)
UN Senior Mission Leadership seminar (Botswana 2008)
Management of the work to develop the first UN Headquarters Support manual, involving also the chairmanship of a working group with representatives from 14 countries, UN DPKO (Department of Peacekeeping Operations) and UN DFS (Department of Field Support) with meetings in Beijing, Denmark and New York (2014).The manual is being printed and distributed to UN member countries, future peacekeeping units and centres as well as UN field missions.
After the inception of the company Mosgaard Consulting has delivered presentions and inputs for a wide range of seminars and conferences as well as the Danish Defence Academy, the EU Parliament and the UN Associations in Denmark and Sweden.
KM are together with Rotary and Kawempe Home Care developing a project to mitigate HIV/AIDS and cervical cancer in Uganda.
Mosgaard Consulting has developed a paper as part of the Danish Ministers of Defence and Foreign Affairs in-put to the ”Ban Review” of future UN peace operations. The UN report nicknamed the HIPPO-report (High Level Panel on UN Peace Operations) was discussed at the UN General Assembly in September with the aim of making UN peace operations better and more effective.
Mosgaard Consulting has conducted studies and developed concepts on the Protection of Civilians (POC) and Danish/Nordic Mobile Training Teams (MTTs) in support of UN for the Danish Defence and Ministry of Defence.
In June 2016 KM contributed to a visit by the Royal Danish Defence Academy (FAK) to Beijing including presentations, meetings and an academic paper on challenges for UN peacekeeping.
KM has contributed to the development of a report and presentation to the Danish political level on the present situation in the Danish armed forces and on how identified shortfalls could be met in order to meet the new challenges in Europe and the World.
Each year KM conducts a wide range of presentations to various associations, universities etc.
